GAI is pleased to be working closely with the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) on a number of important industry initiatives, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach on issues that will shape the future of our sector.
Current collaboration includes the development of joint responses to the draft BS 8670-2 consultation and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) Call for Evidence on Trades, Professions and Occupations. By bringing together the expertise of both organisations, we are able to consider the issues from across the supply chain and present well-informed, balanced responses that reflect the needs of the wider industry.
Representatives from both organisations have been holding a series of meetings to share knowledge, align thinking and agree common positions where appropriate. This collaborative approach strengthens the industry's voice and helps ensure that policymakers and standards bodies receive clear, consistent and practical feedback.
