Last night the Government published its new guidance on what employers need to do to make workplaces safe for employees to return as lockdown restrictions are relaxed.
As expected, it includes a requirement for a specific COVID-19 risk assessment
. The guidance states: "You should share the results of your risk assessment with your workforce. If possible, you should consider publishing the results on your website (and we would expect all businesses with over 50 workers to do so).”
You can find GAI guidance here on how to do this risk assessment.
Workplaces should follow the new guidance on Working Safely During Coronavirus (COVID-19)
which has been published for a range of working environments, including construction
, manufacturing factories and warehouses
, and offices
The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) will review the Site Operating Procedures to ensure they are fully consistent with the new guidance. Click here to see how these guidelines currently apply to our sector
