A Product Data Template (PDT) for doorsets is now available for public consultation.
A PDT is a template to help generate a set of defined information for a given manufacturer’s product with the output of this process being a product data sheet (PDS) which the manufacturer can make available to any party.
The PDT was created by the shadow Fenestration Relevant Authority which was set up to create Product Data Templates for the fenestration industry. The authority comprises 12 trade associations and stakeholder organisations from the sector, with GAI acting as chair.
The consultation template can be downloaded from this page, and any comments inputted on to the spreadsheet in Column F.
The completed document should then be emailed to [email protected]
