Scotland Community Hub - UAP Antimicrobial Technology; From Science to Specification

Developed as a means to educate customers about antimicrobial products and to prepare participants for the application of knowledge in product selection, progressing from understanding the science, to interpreting standards, to making informed specification decisions. It assumes no prior knowledge and is designed to answer common professional questions such as: What are microbes and how are they transmitted? How does antimicrobial technology work? Which standards or tests actually prove performance? When should these products be considered- and what options are there? This CPD contributes to professional competence in the following areas: Terminology, product performance & characteristics | Material science & properties of metals | Standards & testing methods | Due diligence& risk | Product & project lifecycles Presenter name: Rich Morris – Technical Manager from UAP.
