Ironmongery careers celebrated in AIJ
The stories of five architectural ironmongers are to be told in each issue of the AIJ in 2017.
In December last year, the Guild asked its members to share their tales of their architectural ironmongery career in the 80s, 90s and 21st century for the “Where are they now?” competition.
The stories of David and Paul Martin, Fadi Ammoun, Adam Taylor, and Colin Milne will feature over this year's editions of the Architectural Ironmongery Journal (AIJ).
Rachel Tipton, training and development manager, said:
“The Guild executive found each and every story thoroughly enjoyable to read and are immensely proud to see the successes achieved by our members thus far.
“We were very pleased with the interest the competition generated and have agreed to run this every year to promote our membership values and the experiences our GAI Rising Stars in the world of ironmongery have gained.”
David and Paul Martin’s story is the first to be shared in the Spring Edition of the AIJ. Head to page 22 to find out more.
