Our New GAI Director
It is with great pleasure that we can announce the appointment of Mr Neil Fisher as GAI Director, with effect from Oct 1st 2016. As many of you know, Gary Amer will be leaving the GAI at the end of September after nine and a half years and he goes with our sincere thanks and very best wishes for his future.
Neil Fisher brings with him an abundance of relevant experience – having come from a largely Educational background. Neil’s career has over twenty years’ of senior management experience in education, training and membership organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. He has extensive Higher Education experience having managed MSC, PhD programmes, professional short courses and Apprenticeships. Neil’s expertise will be really good for the Guild in our bid to expand our education reach and our portfolio of education products itself. With a strong track record of heading membership organisations too – we believe Neil will help drive our Business Plan forwards, as well as creating enhanced value for you, our members. Neil also has direct experience in many of the international markets in which we actively engage through both our IAI branches and through students taking our Diploma course.
I am sure he will introduce himself to as many of you as he can as he works through a very packed Induction programme. He joins at a tremendously busy time as we have education enrolments, major events and many working party meetings all scheduled throughout the autumn. Once he’s officially on board we’ll share his contact details with you all.
